SIMON COOK After completing Electronics Engineering, Simon commenced a 21 year career in the computer industry. It was during this time that Simon started his own IT company, where for 11 years he served the IT needs of many businesses throughout Sydney.
Simon joined the Star Group in 2006 to establish our Castle Hill business, a flag ship location for Star. It was here, where his strong focus on detail is evident by his continual fine-tuning of the wash process and his commitment to quality. Simon has always displayed the attributes learnt from servicing a large clientele and understands the importance of customer satisfaction. With utmost integrity, Simon continues to be part of the driving force behind Star and it is with pride we have Simon as part of the team.
ALLEN CHIMES joined the Star Carwash Group in 2007 and established our Miranda Star Valet Wash. Since arriving in Australia he spent 8 Years as Director of Roman Camping Equipment in charge of Marketing, Sales & Product Development. Here Allen honed his skills in customer service, team building & quality control, skills that have been integral in the success of the business development of Miranda.
Allen has now taken on more responsibility within the Star Group, developing a long term strategy to ensure consistency & quality across the Star Wash Group of Car Washes. Allen has a Bachelor of Arts - Legal from the University of Witwatersrand SA.
KWAN KWAI moved to Canberra in 1992. He graduated from the Australian National University with a Degree in Engineering and a Degree in Information Technology. He became the owner and operator of Lizard's Car Wash in 2002, now Star Car Wash (Canberra Centre), one of the first valet car wash facilities in Canberra. With his engineering backgrounds and experience in car cleaning industry, he understands what is the best way to clean your car, and he agrees with "The Best Carwash is a Star Wash".
Kwan was excited to be part of the Star Car Wash Group and is now leading Star's growth in the A.C.T., where we now have 4 locations. He and his team will continue to service you and your cars proudly.
